As you can probably tell, just by looking at my banner/header: I love trees! These were taken in my yard. I love sunbursts too. So, combining the two makes me one happy photographer :)

I Heart Faces: Pets

Here is my weekly entry for I Heart Faces. It is pet week, so this is my pride and joy, Ace. He is four years old and this is my favorite picture of him!

I whitened the teeth and brightened the eyes. Used a few actions, and that is all! All edits were done with Photoshop CS4.

Christmas Time is Just Around the Corner :)

Christmas is only 13 days away! That is less than 2 weeks! Thankfully, I have all my Christmas shopping finished! We put up our "big" tree last night and are officially done decorating our house for Christmas. I took a bunch of pictures, but my computer only saved 2 after I had edited them :( oh well!

oh and p.s. I am officially committing myself to i heart faces, it is a weekly photo challenge. I want to do it to be a little out of my photography comfort zone. & to have a little more interesting portfolio, not just my pets ;)

Raining at the Beach...

We are at the beach, and it's been raining all morning. I decided I should post some of our beach pictures.

I spent yesterday out in my yard, planting flowers :) All the trees are in bloom or have already bloomed! Today I went out with my camera and got these shots! I absolutely love the purple flower shot, I'm going to get that one printed soon!
